Faith was born in New Brunswick, grew up in Haida Gwaii and Labrador, and returned to New Brunswick to finish school. Faith was the first professional translator at Maritime Hospital Services Association (now Medavie Blue Cross). She retired to full-time freelancing after 30 years with NB Power, a major electrical utility. Her clients have included a number of governments and governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, universities and individuals. When not translating or writing, Faith is a first aid instructor and a Guider. She is deeply involved in her professional associations and is currently the president of CTTIC. She and her husband have two grown daughters.
