Dennis McKearney

For many years, Dennis taught English as a Second Language at the college and university level in the Czech Republic, France and Montreal. He has been working as a full-time translator since 2007. Concurrently, he has been studying Italian, which he hopes to add as another translation language.

Born in Halifax, raised in Ottawa and educated in Victoria, Dennis now calls Montreal home. He is married and has one dog, who enjoys travelling a great deal.

Dennis was part of the team that translated La pratique du commerce international by Philippe Fortin. He is currently finalising the translation of Le travail de l’huître, the fourth novel by Québécois writer Jean Barbe.
